Can anyone give me information regarding what is; if any.... the legislation or procedures about the parking of motorcycles in the work-place.
There is very little on motorcycles in general regarding this issue anywhere, and the A.A. seem to ignore powered two wheelers, as members of the traffic infrastructure: (They are not alone on this issue either) A comment from them would be advantageous. What do you, and the A.A. think about this issue? I'll start it off: Surely to promote motorcycle parking in the work-place would constitute good working practices, as it would alleviate traffic congestion, to and from work, this in turn may also ease work-place parking, in addition it could also reduce carbon emmissions. Is it not time interested parties discuss constructively the benefits of using Powered Two Wheelers, as oppossed to other forms of transport to and from work? |

Indeed this is an important issue.
There is a bikers demo at 7.30pm outside Westminster city Hall on March 31st to protest against new parking charges for motorbikes in Westminster. To reduce congestion and improve thwe environment we should have more free bike parking. AA has some really cool electric scooters for patrols in London so I think they know about the issues. If you dont get into London before about 7am it is impossible to park for free. |
