This is not about what cars celebs actually drive but more about what car describes them best.
So : Britany Spears - Suzuki jimmy - pink Gordon Brown - Old brown Volvo Tony Blair - Mondeo Man Christiano Ronaldo - Smart forttwo cabriolet Sebastian Coe - Suburu Legacy Michael Jackson - Clio Campus Rio Ferdinand - Kia Rio hatchback Elton John - Pink Cadilac I'm sure you could do better? |

I like the idea - here are a few thoughts:-
Gary Linekar - big wing mirrors; large boot for the golf clubs; pretty dull; Lexus Hybrid Gordon Brown - reminds me of a '70s detective, just missing the trilby. Brings to mind an old Rover. Walnut picnic trays in the back of the front seats. Functional but secretly likes to make a statement with neighbours. David Cameron - public school; supported by parents; brings to mind VW Golf GTI at university when other students can just about afford beer; car never washed; ashtrays full Jonathan Ross - dice; furry back shelf; pink or purple; treats his car as a way of attracting girlfriends; usually dirty inside but cleans up every now and again - Ford Capri Stephen Fry - I'm trying to clear my mind of the taxi he drives..... VW Golf - same reason as Cameron Simon Cowell - high suspension; blue lights underneath; tinted windows; enlarged exhaust; - suped up Fiesta |

James Corden - BMW X5, VW Toureg, Porsche Cayenne ... in fact any large 4x4
Why? Well besides the obvious (size) you see much to much of them all these days. Actually, thinking about it, it doesn't really work because the 4x4s are funny! |

Damian McBride, sacked aide to PM, would drive Vauxhall Cavalier all the way to the scrap yard without collecting a £2000 scrappage fee on the way.
