How much would it cost for a citreon saxo vtr 1.6 to travel 350 miles? Me and my boyfriend are going to my dads in scotland this weekend, but we dont have a lot of money
 and was just wondering how much we will need. Thanks! |

Our online car buyers guide shows an 'official combined' fuel consumption for the 1.6vtr of 42miles/gallon.
It's not unreasonable to expect to get close to this figure on a long run if the vehicle's driven gently. Over 350 miles you should then expect to use 350/42 or approx 9 gallons of petrol. Our April fuel price report shows a national average price of 95p/litre for unleaded petrol. 1 gallon = 4.546 litres 9 gallons = 9x4.546 = 41 litres So your fuel bill will be around 41x0.95 = £39.
