So the government's just announced £25Million backing for extended trials of electric vehicles - "we want to know how people use and re-charge electric vehicles".
Limited range, dirty electricity, several hours to recharge and the prospect of a several thousand pound bill to renew the batteries after a few years. Wouldn't this money be better spent on research/investment into clean energy generating technology or more powerful but lighter batteries that last longer? |

Hello,
Electric cars are very environmental friendly in comparison to petrol and diesel car, other fuel alternatives also have some negative effect but electric cars are quite safe, hydrogen cars are also better option but it is still in its conception stage and it will take few more year to come in its final till date electric cars are better alternatives.
