My space saver spare tyre's diameter is 1" smaller than my normal tyre. So some of the time it won't be touching the road, it will be a half inch in the air. I contend that this is extremely dangerous even at relatively low speed and especially in wet or icy conditions. And, it is perfectly legal as well as being suicidal.
