Here's some news on the AA's Hotel Booking Service:
The AA is now partnered with top travel site Expedia, which will provide our online booking service. An availability search is now included in the search tool for ease of “real time” booking, so you can see what's available straightaway. The Hotel and B&B search tools have been integrated to offer a comprehensive range of accommodation to customers. Basically, you get all the accommodation info in one place, rather than having to choose between Hotels and B&Bs. Multiple images of each establishment are now displayed on the establishment details page. Always good to see what you're getting. Bookable hotels are pinpointed on the AA Route Planner along every step of the route and at the destination point. Handy for planning stop-overs. Great news for AA members. You will receive an exclusive 5% discount at many available hotels.
