Hi Everyone,

Just after some advice. The road that I live on has a dropped kerb, howver there are no signs or road markings to state that parking is not permitted. It is not a driveway!

I have parked in front of the kerb, in the past on numerous occassions and the traffic enforcers have not issued me or any of the other residence or visitors a ticket.

Please could anyone advice on whether I can appeal on the grounds that there are no markings indicating no parking on the dropped kerb.

Many thanks

You can`t park in front of a dropped kerb, the resident/owner will have requested its installation from the council, paid a fee and will then have the right to have it kept clear, the resident/owner can`t even park in front of it.
