Should people have to re-take driving tests that passed 60-70 yrs ago?

Im thinking yes, highway codes have changed etc and I have seen some shocking and worrying driving from some elderly. Granted there are terrible drivers of all ages but a lot of the time the elderly seem completely oblivious to dangers and the terrible manouvers they have committed.

Thoughts?

Elderly drivers seem to lack confidence in some areas, but be over-confident in others. For instance, many will refuse to drive at above 45mph on a national speed limit road, to the irritation of those behind them, but will happily break the limit in a built up area. In my own experience, I gave a lift to an elderly man, and drove at 55-60mph on roads with a 60mph limit, prompting him to complain that I was driving "very fast"; soon afterwards, he picked up two tickets for passing a camera, the same camera, in fact, at over the 30mph limit.
