The AA has launched an online cooking competition for amateur cooks with big ambitions.
This unique competition provides the opportunity for passionate home cooks to showcase their skills and creativity. Participants' recipes will be judged on their attention to detail, flavour combinations and mix of culinary traditions and originality. Eight finalists will be invited to a cook-off in front of a distinguished panel of judges including Chris Galvin, Andre Garrett, Gary Rhodes and an AA Inspector. The first prize is to cook the winning dish at Galvin at Windows at the London Hilton alongside Chris Galvin, and your three friends who will watch at the pass. The winner also receives a 2 day all expenses trip to the Champagne region of France, with a private tasting courtesy of Pommery. All finalists receive an AA Rosette trophy, a chef's jacket from Bragard and a CCS chef's knife. What are you waiting for! The AA Home Cooking Competition |

It's better than Masterchef !
you can work your way through the initial stages from the comfort of your home, it's not a long-drawn out process, and if you make the final 8 you won't have TV cameras harassing you - it's just you, the ingredients and the judges. |
