Has anybody had any experience of selling a car via this method?

Good or bad, I would appreciate any comments.

Not sure to go this route or maybe go for a trade in.

I was afraid of car auctions. I would probably try it to buy but not to sell a car. I sold my Avansis at
www.cbg.ie/login.aspx
and I know it was a good solution. I got the price I wanted an there were no suprises like it might have been in case of auctions. I prefer clear deal conditions. I use auctions sometimes buying less important and valuable items but if you want to sell a car or a house I would recommend not to do it on an auction.
