Subject: ROVER ALARM CODES

I have replaced the battery on my Rover Streetwise and unset the alarm.
Does anyone know if there is a database available to retrieve the 4 digit alarm code for my car and do the key resetting trick on the driver's door? |

All 'Xpart' dealers have access to Rover parts and technical information and can also obtain alarm codes.
For the nearest Xpart AutoService Centre visit their website http://www.xpartautoservicecentre.com |

Hi You should not need to have the system reprogrammed. Try these steps
1. Remove the batteries from the remote 2. Now press both the buttons on the remote several times each. 3. Refit the batteries to the remote. 4. Sit in the car with the remote near the steering wheel press the unlock button slowly several times and it will reset. If this does not work there is something else wrong. Most common thing is the wiring loom breaks to the boot lid on the drivers side inside the black rubber sheathing. |
